COMMUNITY LENTEN SERIES
The Orange County Ministerial Association invites the community to its annual Lenten service and lunch series Wednesdays at 12:15 p.m. during the season of Lent, March 6 through April 10, at St. Thomas Episcopal Church on Caroline Street. Each week, a different minister will conduct a brief service of about 30 minutes, followed by a simple soup lunch. The theme for the series is “Sensing the Gospel.” Donations of canned or boxed goods for Love Outreach Food Pantry are appreciated. This year’s offerings will go to the Christian Emergency Council, which helps Orange County residents in need of temporary support for rent and utilities.

Mount Pisgah Baptist Church, True Blue, will host a community prayer breakfast Saturday, March 30, at 10 a.m. All are welcome.
BLUE RUN CAR SHOW
Blue Run Baptist Church will host a car show with a bake sale, vendors and gospel music by James Shelton and the New Sensations on Saturday, March 30. General admission is free. Registration will begin at 11 a.m. and the show will start at noon. Trophies will be awarded. Proceeds will benefit the Pastor Aide Club. Waddell Presbyterian Church, Rapidan, will hold its fifth Saturday open mic night and musical jam session March 30, beginning with a shared dinner at 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
