HEALING WORKSHOP

Freed2Lead Ministries will sponsor a two-day “Miraculous Healings and God’s Trauma Team” workshop Friday, May 10, at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, May 11, at 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. at Comfort Inn and Suites, located at 334 Caroline St. in Orange, with host leader Jennifer Gordon-Campbell. LAKE ORANGE PARENT/CHILD FISHING DAY

A parent/child fishing adventure sponsored by Mountain View Community Church will take place Saturday, May 11, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lake Orange. The event is free and open to parents and children with a valid fishing license. Fishing will take place from 8 to 11:30 a.m. followed by a barbecue lunch and awards for the most, biggest and smallest fish.

Orange Baptist Church is offering GriefShare, a grief recovery support group open to anyone who has lost a loved one. Samantha Reynolds will be the facilitator.
