Thousands of Orange County residents and visitors from throughout Central Virginia filled Booster Park Saturday evening for the seventh annual Playin’ in the Park Independence Day celebration. The event featured talented local musicians, games, food trucks, a touch-a-truck activity and a fireworks display to conclude the evening. Families set up picnics in the park as children tossed balls and enjoyed bounce houses and the park playground. Music began with Oletha Braxton, followed by Alan Miller and Matt Baldwin. Wishful Thinkin’ took the stage before The Mo Jo Jam wrapped up the evening’s entertainment.
