The Town of Gordonsville hosted its 11th annual Veterans Parade on Main Street Saturday, Nov. 9. Dozens of civic and community organizations participated, culminating in a program honoring veterans at the Gordonsville Volunteer Fire Company. Dr. William “Bill” Foster Hughes, Ret. Colonel, U. S. Army was the keynote speaker and noted in this hyper-partisan country, one area all Americans should be able to agree is the support of the nation’s veterans. The town recognized veterans Sam Jurlando, Lillian Kay MacCormack, Alexander MacCormack, Victoria Sukar, Hughes and Forrest Elliott.
