The Woodstock River Bandits cranked out 12 hits and 10 runs en route to a 10-5 win over the Charlottesville Tom Sox on Monday night.

Woodstock (13-11) took command with a five-run sixth inning and never trailed again. Aidan Nagle, Lael Lockhart, Nick Holesa, William Escala and Caleb Ward each finished with two hits for the River Bandits.

While Woodstock’s offense was churning out hits and runs, the River Bandits’ pitching staff limited the Tom Sox (14-9) to six hits. Starter Jared Roberts picked up the win for Woodstock after giving up three runs on four hits while striking out six in five innings of work.

Devin Warner went 2-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored to lead the Tom Sox.
